A sinkhole prompted the temporary closure of a playground at a Bristol Township park Wednesday, according to Bristol Township Parks and Recreation. Around 9:40 a.m., officials said crews were working to make the necessary repairs to the Municipal Park playground at 2501 Bath Road after a sinkhole was identified in that area. The Spray Park remains open and is operating during its normal hours, which are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., so officials encouraged residents to visit despite the playground being closed. “We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to resolve this issue.
