In Wednesday’s Crime Stoppers report, LPD forensics technician Becky Keller said after hitting the vehicle, the man got out, looked at the damage, then a few minutes later goes into the store to make his purchase. Keller says the driver is an older white male with what appeared to be an orange and salmon colored striped shirt.
The man was driving a newer white Toyota Tacoma pickup truck.
A second Crime Stoppers case goes back to April 28 around 7pm inside the Walmart near 84th and Fremont. Employees reported a woman came into the store and had three kids with her, and another adult female. The woman was seen grabbing 24 pounds of tomatoes along with other miscellaneous items.
Keller said the woman took the items to a cashier to ring up, and when the cashier leaves to grab a manager to assist, the woman left with those items without attempting to pay for them. She was seen leaving in a newer white Chevy Tahoe or GMC Yukon. If you can help us identify her, Crime Stoppers has a tip line open and ready for you.
