Former Husker Wrestler Arrested on Lancaster County Warrant

ce on Tuesday morning at a home near Bennington, which later led to the arrest of former Nebraska wrestler AJ Ferrari.
According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, investigators were watching the home, where a woman was seen leaving to get into a truck and the 24-year-old Ferrari crawled out of the garage and got into the rear passenger seat of the truck. He was soon taken into custody. Court documents show a woman has filed for a protection order against Ferrari. A hearing has been set for July 7 to give him an opportunity to show the court why one should not be issued.
Previously, Ferrari was booked in Lancaster County for an outstanding warrant in January 2026, but those charges were dismissed later. Ferrari left the Husker wrestling program in April.
