RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– More than 200 guns are off the streets in the Midlands. Tuesday afternoon, July 7, Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott displayed the 271 guns from the department’s evidence room that have been cleared for destruction. Sheriff Leon Lott says this is just a part of t he department’s effort to fight back against gun violence.
