New York State Police are investigating the death of an Upstate New York man who drowned while kayaking on Independence Day.Scott N. Meyer, 56, of Pine Island, left his campsite at Mongaup Pond Campground between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. on July 4 to go fishing in his kayak.
