Angela Jean Comeau, 53, of Richmond, Vt., passed away on June 28, 2026, at the McClure Miller Respite House, surrounded by family. In her time cut much too short, Angela was a beacon of infectious energy, wanting the best for herself and everyone around her.
Internally that e
nergy drove a desire to constantly improve, both personally and professionally. Self-exploration, academic achievement, professional success all rooted in her desire to lean in and make a difference. Angela didn’t do anything halfway.
Externally that energy was willing to support and advocate for anyone in need. It was a driving force in her personality and leadership approach. Throughout her career, Angela had an inspirational impact wherever she was.
Of all of her achievements, Angela was most proud of being a mother to daughters Lea and Rory. Seeing both accomplish milestones over the years brought her tremendous pride and joy. The presence of her twin grandsons, Makai and Ellion, always raised her spirit and generated excitement.
Angela truly loved all that life had to offer. Top of the list beyond family and friends are the ocean, everything Hello Kitty, dark chocolate, the mystic powers of the number 108, blues music, motorcycle creemee runs, driving her 4Runner and her little dog Rocco. She is an indelible spirit that will never be forgotten.
Angela is survived by her husband, Scott Comeau; daughters, Leaetta Harris and Rory Wells; brother, Eric LaFromboise; mother, Betty St. Gelais; and father, Norman Hurlburt.
A celebration of life is being arranged for September 2026. In lieu of gifts or flowers, we ask that donations be made to the McClure Miller Respite House in Colchester.
