A man was fatally shot early Tuesday on the Near North Side. The man, 40, was outside in the 400 block of West Evergreen Avenue around 2:10 a.m. when he was shot multiple times, Chicago police said. The man was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.
