A man was taken into custody following an hours-long standoff in Antioch on Saturday, according to police. At around 11 a.m., Antioch police dispatch received a 911 call reporting a disturbance at an apartment in the 1600 block of Aster Drive and a man who was possibly injured and bleeding, accor ding to authorities. Police said the man, identified as 46-year-old Kevin Henry, had an outstanding felony warrant for violating the terms of his post-release community supervision. Police said they tried to persuade Henry to leave the apartment to receive medical treatment, but he refused and barricaded himself inside, threatened to harm officers and set the apartment on fire.   Henry was also seen with a gasoline container, according to authorities. As a precaution, officials said the nearby units were evacuated and the APD SWAT, along with the Crisis Negotiators, responded to the scene to negotiate with Henry. A mobile crisis response team from Contra Costa Health’s A3 also responded. Henry left the apartment and surrendered to officers at around 4:09 p.m., according to authorities.
