Around 11:30 p.m., the city and a promoter confirmed that the show will resume at midnight with a performance by the Roots as well as fireworks. Before the concert was delayed, Infinity Song, Seal, Jordan Davis and Jill Scott all performed. A promoter confirmed the Roots will perform at midnight but did not reveal if Will Smith and DJ Jazzy Jeff, Kathy Sledge, State Property and Meek Mill will perform with them.
