Three people were taken to the hospital after a tree suddenly fell onto a car in Montgomery County on Friday, according to the Lower Merion Township Police Department. Lower Merion police said the crash happened around 12:23 p.m. on Montgomery Avenue near Thornbrook Avenue on July 3. A blue- colored Nissan Altima was going westbound on Montgomery Avenue when a large tree fell onto the road and hit the car, police explained. A 40-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman who were in the front seat were listed in critical condition at the hospital, police said. A 10-year-old girl in the back seat suffered minor injuries and is listed as stable, according to police. SkyForce10 was over the scene where a car was visible with extensive damage.
