A juvenile boy died after an e-bike and motorcycle collided on Thursday night on the Boise Bench, according to the Boise Police Department.Police and Boise Fire responded around 8 p.m. on July 2 to the crash near the intersectio n of Phillippi Street and Morris Hill Road.The juvenile boy, who was riding the e-bike, was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries and died a short time later, police said.A verified GoFundMe fundraiser created by the boy's uncle identified him as 15-year-old Sterling Wolfgang "Wolf" Thomas. According to the fundraiser, Sterling was riding his bike when he was struck by a motorcycle in his neighborhood. The fundraiser says family members are raising money to help cover funeral expenses for his mother.A juvenile girl who was also riding on the e-bike was taken to a hospital with minor injuries, police said. The adult male motorcycle rider was hospitalized with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.According to Boise police, evidence indicates the motorcycle was traveling northbound while the two juveniles were traveling westbound on the e-bike when the collision occurred. Police said the e-bike involved was a 750-watt electric bicycle with pedals.Detectives with the Boise Police Criminal Investigation Division and the Crash Reconstruction Team are investigating the crash.
