CHARLOTTE, N.C. – We’re reaching the peak of summer holiday travel season at the airport. 1.6 million passengers are expected to pass through Charlotte Douglas between June 26th and July 6th. That’s actually fewer people than last year. Passenger activity is projected to be down 6.7 percent . Still, more than 7,600 flights are scheduled to depart CLT over the holiday travel period. One traveler who talked with us says it’s important to keep a lighthearted attitude. Dana Sease, who’s heading to New Orleans, says, “Don’t be so ready to get mad if something doesn’t go right, because odds are it may.
