A tractor-trailer driver has been charged after allegedly falling asleep at the wheel and killing another driver in Union County, according to the Monroe Police Department. It happened around 8:20 a.m. on Wednesday, July 1 at the intersection of Pageland Highway and White Store Road. Police said Ch arles Allen Davis, operating a tractor-trailer, fell asleep while driving. According to investigators, the vehicle went off the right side of the road and entered the intersection where it collided with a Toyota Camry.
