Among the convention groups in town are the National Strength Conditioning Association, which is expected to generate 3,056 room nights, and the National Association of Community Restorative Justice, with an estimated 2,456 room nights. Projected occupancy for Thursday is 53.4%, compared with a final occupancy rate of 60.1% during the same period last year. Sunday occupancy is forecast at 58.6%, slightly below last year’s 61.2%.
