New renderings for Dallas Wings' Oak Cliff practice facility released
Jul 02, 2026
The Dallas Wings are sharing a new look at their practice facility, which is currently under construction.
The team shared a video reel that includes Downtown Dallas, where the Wings hope to permanently relocate their home games, and inside the facility in West Dallas.
There’s a community lo
bby, practice courts, a viewing porch, and a gym. There’s also a locker room for players, a salon, a treatment room, a content studio, a film study room, a draft room, and an open-concept office. The video ends with a family room, reception, a player dining room, and the parking lot.
The facility is currently under construction after the team took over construction. The city was supposed to be in charge, but numerous delays led to a change of plans. The Wings still plan to open the facility in April.
The Wings are still negotiating where the team will play home games in 2027 and beyond. The current plan is the American Airlines Center full-time next year, with hopes the city’s rebuilt Memorial Auditorium is ready in 2028.
The Wings are playing three games at the American Airlines Center in 2026, but say it’s not a viable home as long as the Dallas Mavericks and Stars plan to occupy the building. The Mavs and Stars have leases there through 2030, before they both plan to move to new team-owned homes to the north.
The long-term future of the AAC and surrounding Victory Park remains unclear.
