Update 9:45 p.m.: The Madison County Sheriff’s Office lifted a shelter-in-place order around 9:32 p.m. on Wednesday night in in the area of Cottons Road and Bruce Road in the town of Lincoln.There is no danger to the public, according to a New York state emergency alert.
