UNION CO., N.C. – A driver has been charged after deputies say he crashed an SUV into a home in Union County. This happened over the weekend on Plyler Mill Road. Investigators say Gustavo Sanchez and a passenger ran from the scene after he crashed into the home. We’re told the homeowners were sitting just a few feet away from where the SUV entered the home. They were not hurt. Sanchez was arrested a few hours later and is charged with felony hit and run, and driving while license revoked. He’s been released on a $50,000 secured bond.
