Wilmington police seek public's help solving 2013 cold case murder of woman

More than a decade after a woman was murdered, the Wilmington Police Department’s Cold Case Unit is asking for the community’s help to solve the case.
On Wednesday, police requested the public’s help to help solve the murder of 33-year-old Janeal Jones, who was stabbed to death in a vacant
lot on the 600 block of East 14th Street on Aug. 8, 2013.
Police said investigation determined that Jones was involved in a fight moments before she was stabbed.
This investigation remains ongoing, and investigators are asking the public for help to solve the case.
