As Dallas-Fort Worth prepares to host its first knockout-round match of this World Cup, last-minute asking prices for tickets on the secondary market have dropped significantly compared with prices for earlier matches at Dallas Stadium. Paying a little more than $700 for Tuesday’s Ivory Coast-N orway matchup on third-party ticketing platform StubHub can get you in the door for an upper-deck seat at Dallas Stadium. That price stands in sharp contrast to last-minute prices for Saturday’s Argentina-Jordan match. Even with questions surrounding how much Lionel Messi would play, if at all, it cost more than $2,000 for the cheapest seat and a chance to see the global superstar, according to StubHub. The upcoming Ivory Coast-Norway game won’t lack star power. It should feature Norwegian superstar striker Erling Haaland, one of the rising stars in this edition of the World Cup and a prolific scorer for Manchester City in England’s Premier League.
