(Courtesy of Lancaster County Corrections) LINCOLN–(KFOR June 29)–A 32-year-old Lincoln man, who is accused of beating and sexually assaulting a woman on Father’s Day, has been arrested and charged. Jetmir Memeti i s charged with first-degree sexual assault, third-degree domestic violence assault resulting in bodily injury and violating a protection order in Lancaster County Court. Documents show the assault happened on June 21 at an apartment near 13th and “E” Streets in Lincoln. A 39-year-old woman reported to a couple of LPD officers that she had been beaten and then sexually assaulted by Memeti while at his apartment. She said she was able to escape with her baby who was also in the home and call 911, police wrote. Court documents note that the victim had a bruise under her left eye and dried blood inside both nostrils.
