Fourth of July is right around the corner and events are preparing for crowds. WalletHub’s “Best and Worst Places for 4th of July Celebrations (2026)” ranked San Francisco and other Bay Area cities in the top 100 based on multiple categories. San Francisco ranked seventh overall and firs t under the “Attractions Activities” section. Other Bay Area cities made the list, including Oakland at 23, Fremont at 27 and San Jose at 51. The ranking also included many California cities outside the Bay Area, making the Golden State the top represented state in the top 100.
