SUMTER, SC (WOLO) — Deputies with the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office say one man is dead and two others are wounded following a shooting on Easy Street in Sumter County. Deputies say they responded to a shots-fired call around 10:30 p.m. on Saturday night, and found one victim, identified by C oroner Robbie Baker as Daizhan K’Vonte Perry, dead from multiple gunshot wounds. Two additional victims were transported to Prisma Health Tuomey where they are being treated for non-life-threatening wounds. Both are listed in stable condition. Investigators believe this was an isolated incident and that there is no ongoing threat to the public. Sheriff Anthony Dennis says, “The investigation remains active as investigators work to swiftly identify and apprehend the person or persons responsible for this senseless and heinous act.
