Saturday, June 27, marks day 9 of the Wawa Welcome America festivities. Saturday’s events include Concilio’s Annual Hispanic Fiesta returns to Philadelphia, a concert and fireworks on the Waterfront, free museum admissions, and free movie screenings through the Philadelphia Film Society. Rea d more information on today’s events below: Free Museum Days: Woodford Mansion When: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Where: Woodford Mansion, 2300 North 33rd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19132  About: Built in 1756, the Woodford Mansion contains the Naomi Wood Collection, a collection of furniture, paintings, and decorative arts. While touring the Mansion, guests learn about the families who used it as a summer home in the years surrounding the American Revolution.   Free Museum Days: Historic Strawberry Mansion When: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Where: Historic Strawberry Mansion, 2450 Strawberry Mansion Dr, Philadelphia, PA 19132  About: While visiting the Historic Strawberry Mansion, visitors can attend a guided tour of this18th century mansion with an abolitionist history.  Free Museum Days: Laurel Hill Mansion When: 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Where: Laurel Hill Mansion, 3487 Edgley Drive, Philadelphia, PA 19121  About: Laurel Hill Mansion is a pre-revolutionary house built in 1767. Visitors can see portraits of former occupants hanging in the house, which is furnished in the popular style of the late 18th century. Families can find activities for their children including lawn games and crafts. Free Museum Days: Hill-Physick House When: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Where: Hill-Physick House, 321 S 4th St, Philadelphia, PA 19106  About: Guests can take a self-guided tour through the home of Dr. Philip Syng Physick, the Father of Early American Surgery.   Free Museum Days: Johnson House Historic Site When: 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.  Where: Johnson House Historic Site, 6306 Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19144 (Front door located on Germantown Avenue) About: The Johnson House is one of Philadelphia’s few intact waystations on the Underground Railroad open for tours. Visitors can join a 60-minute guided tour of the National Historic Landmark and Underground Railroad Station.  Concilio’s Annual Hispanic Fiesta When: 2 p.m. to 9 p.m.  Where: Love Park, 16th Street and JFK Boulevard Philadelphia, Philadelphia, PA 19103 About: Concilio’s Annual Hispanic Fiesta is an energetic festival highlighting the diversity and spirit of Philadelphia’s Hispanic Community. Featuring live music from Grammy Award-Winning, and Latin Grammy Award-winning, Puerto Rican Singer, Olga Tañón. There will also be lively dance performances, top food trucks, and family friendly attractions.   Free Museum Days: Eastern State Penitentiary Where: 2027 Fairmount Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19130  When: 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. About: An exclusive pay-what-you-wish evening of Summer Nights at Eastern State Penitentiary Historic Site, this program is part of “A Time for Liberty: Our Shared History, Our Shared Future,” a yearlong series of programs at the Site.  Reservations are strongly recommended, and a $1 service fee applies to each Pay-What-You-Wish Ticket. There will be a standby line, and standby guests will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis.   Reserve tickets here.  Free Movie Days When: Sunrise: High Noon (1952) (in 4K) at 2 p.m., High Society (1956) (in 4K) at 4:30 p.m. Where: Philadelphia Film Center, 1412 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA, 19102  About: The Philadelphia Film Society is offering two-weeks of free movie screenings by and about Philadelphia. All films will be showing at the Main Screen at the Center.
