A man is dead after being shot late Friday night in Philadelphia, according to Philadelphia Police Inspector D.F. Pace. The shooting happened around 11 p.m. on June 26 near the intersection of Old York Road and Hunting Park Avenue in the Hunting Park section of North Philadelphia, Inspector Pace said. The man was shot in his midsection and rushed to a nearby hospital by police where he died, Pace explained. Detectives are not sure of a motive yet in this shooting.
