CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte-Mecklenburg Animal Care and Control is waiving adoption fees on cats and kittens through July 5th. It’s part of the shelter’s Red, White, and Mew! event. They say June is known as the middle of “kitten season.” This month alone, Animal Care and Control has ta ken 470 cats and kittens into the shelter.
