Family says masked group repeatedly targets their Montgomery County home
Jun 26, 2026
A Montgomery County family is asking for the public’s help identifying a group of young men they say has repeatedly targeted their home in Perkiomen Township.
Mary Khalil said the harassment has happened seven times since May 26. She said the group has shown up late at night, overnight and in t
he early morning hours, pounding on and kicking the family’s front door before running away.
“I was awakened by a loud bang and we thought somebody had entered into our home,” Khalil said.
After the first incident, Khalil said she believed it was a prank. But she said the group returned days later, this time wearing ski masks.
“To come back again, it was like midnight, 1, 3. There was no sleep at that point at all that whole night,” she said.
Hoping to learn where the group was coming from, Khalil walked nearby trails and found a camera that provided a clearer look at those involved.
She has since posted images from the camera on social media in the hopes someone recognizes the people shown.

Khalil said she has contacted Pennsylvania State Police multiple times.
The uncertainty surrounding the incidents has been especially difficult for her family, she said.
“We were just being targeted,” Khalil said. “I don’t know why so I don’t know what your end goal is and seeing my kids just not be able to sleep, screaming and crying, that’s hard.
Pennsylvania State Police did not return NBC10’s request for comment by deadline.
