Liberty Smokeland, an unlicensed vape shop in Upstate New York that repeatedly sold flavored e-cigarettes to minors, has been shut down after a settlement with New York Attorney General Letitia James and State Department of Health Commissioner Dr. James McDonald.The settlement requires Liberty Smoke
land to close its Ilion (Herkimer County) store and permanently bans owner Ali Al Shugaa from selling, marketing or distributing any vape or tobacco products in New York.
