Fire crews were busy in Bensalem early Friday as, officials said, flames tore through home that included apartments. According to fire officials, the incident began at about 3:40 a.m. on Friday when crews were dispatched to a two-story home along the 4600 block of Wagonhouse Lane in Bensalem, at a building that had been broken into three apartments. Initially, the Bensalem Volunteer Fire Department posted on social media that crews were concerned that a woman may have been trapped in the burning building. However, fire officials said, crews arrived on the scene as flames could be seen in the building, and firefighters were able to ensure that all of the residents were safely evacuated from the building, As of about 6 a.m. on Friday morning, crews were still working at the scene. Fire officials did not immediately say what may have started the fire in this incident, but an investigation is ongoing. This is a breaking news story.
