In the latest update from the 10th Judicial District Attorney's (DA's) Office, the owners of Davis Mortuary, Christopher and Brian Cotter, have been arrested as of Thursday morning. They were booked into the Pueblo County Jail.B rian Cotter is the former Pueblo County Coroner and was the active coroner when improperly stored bodies were found in 2025.24 bodies were found in summer 2025, hidden behind a concealed door in Davis Mortuary. Read more about the investigation here.In a press conference on Thursday afternoon, the DA's office and CBI say that now 19 of the 24 bodies have been identified in the investigation. Their names have not been released at this time. They are still working to identify the remaining five bodies.
