At least one person was injured, officials said, when a driver behind the wheel of a vehicle, that was allegedly stolen, crashed along Roosevelt Boulevard in the Oxford Circle section of Northeast Philly early Thursday. According to Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small, a vehicle that was stolen was involved in a crash at the intersection of Devereaux Avenue and Roosevelt Boulevard just after 2 a.m. early Thursday. He said that, following the crash, the occupants of the vehicle fled the scene, but one person did suffer minor injuries in this incident. Though, he did not say if this individual was taken into custody or if they were hospitalized following the crash. He also did not immediately say if the injured individual could face charges in this incident. But, he did say other occupants of the vehicle fled the scene in a dark sedan.
