CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Two people are recovering after a fire broke out in east Charlotte early Thursday morning. Charlotte firefighters responded to the fire at an apartment complex on Delta Crossing Lane, just off East WT Harris Boulevard just after 3 a.m. Charlotte Fire says they rescued two reside nts and one pet from the burning building.
