Organizers tout Pride Month as a rally cry and/or a celebration of civil rights. My observations led to the conclusion that Pride leans heavily toward leftist ideologies, as it uses the basic tactic of communism: division of the population into victim groups. Last December at America Fest, James O’Keefe said regarding a constant theme that he discovered during his investigations, “Everything is either fake or gay.” And that about sums up my opinion of Pride Month. You’re gay, OK. Choose your own path. The fake part, Jussie Smollett, Don Le-Mon and Bubba “the noose” Wallace. The pandering part. Politicians and corporations grovel and pander to the rainbow and various other constituencies. In the March issue of Front Page Magazine, Robert Spencer commented on Salt Lake City Mayor Erin Mendenhall’s Islamopandering: “The mayor, wearing a hijab, smiles warmly upon oppression and violence, seemingly unconcerned while thousands of women in the Muslim world are either beaten or murdered for not adhering to the medieval dress code. Mendenhall’s policies are so woke that the city council even adopted the pride flag as an official city flag in order to circumvent a ban on flying anything but the official national flag, the state flag, city flags, and a few others on municipal property.” Hopefully, these two constituencies are never in the same venue. The communist part. I have seen plenty of YouTubers producing videos of Pride parades. An oft refrain from an interviewed parade-going, comfortable-shoe-wearing Subaru operator is, “We must end the patriarchy and capitalism!” A search on Brave revealed: “The historical alliance between LGBT rights and communist movements is rooted in the Popular Front strategy of the 1930s and 1940s, when early gay activists like Harry Hay applied Marxist theory to organize the Mattachine Society (1950) as the first sustained U.S. homosexual rights group. This foundational link emphasized that queer liberation requires class struggle and coalitions with other oppressed groups rather than assimilation into capitalist structures.” From Voz Media on Sept. 15, 2025: “Armed Queers of Salt Lake City was founded in 2020 by Ermyia Fanaeian and describes his organization as a revolutionary LGBT organization dedicated to the defense and success of oppressed people’s movements. Armed Queers SLC merges armed community defense and LGBT activism, and anti-imperialist rhetoric. Combined with the goal of advancing a broader struggle against capitalism and state violence.” Last year, the group reportedly traveled to Cuba to learn about revolutions. And we cannot forget Black Lives Matter, whose declared mission is to destroy the nuclear family. The BLM founders are avowed trained Marxists, and two of the three ringleaders identify as queer black folk. The woke corporate mandating edicts part. Major League Baseball forces its version of inclusion. And as a result, several members of the San Francisco Giants added Bible verses or opted not to wear the themed cap at all during the club’s Pride Night. Earlier, two Los Angeles Dodgers players did not wear rainbow-themed caps. In the minors, the York Revolution forfeited a game against the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs after players refused to wear uniforms with rainbow sleeves for their 11th annual Pride Night. Team officials stated that fewer than one-third of the team agreed to wear the themed jerseys. While not suggesting that all in the community are on board with political subversion, there are numbers in the ranks. These crybullies are not merely seeking tolerance, because tolerance requires reciprocity. The demand is for capitulation, surrender and acquiescence.
