A crash that, officials said, left one person seriously injured, caused significant traffic delays for commuters in Deptford, New Jersey on Wednesday morning. According to officials, the incident happened at about 4:10 a.m. along New Jersey Route 42, just south of Exit 13 in Deptford, when a vehi cle went over a guard rail into a large sign there. Contacted Wednesday morning, police said one person suffered serious injuries in this crash, but as of about 4:20 a.m., crews were still working to extract the injured individual from the vehicle. Police did not immediately provide an update on the injured person’s condition one they were removed from the vehicle. During the morning commute, as of about 6 a.m., NBC10’s SkyForce10 saw the vehicles along the northbound side of the roadway being moved to one lane as crews continued to work at the scene.
