A person who may have been hit by a train Monday morning at BART’s Walnut Creek station has been hospitalized, officials said. The station was initially closed after the incident about 10:45 a.m. but has since reopened. The person reportedly entered the trackway as a train approached at and may have been hit, a BART spokesperson said. The injured person was taken to a hospital. Their condition was not released.
