A person has been hospitalized, officials said, after jumping from a window from a West Philadelphia home overnight as flames tore through the building. According to fire officials, one person — who officials did not immediately provide further identifying information on — was taken to a nea rby hospital after they jumped from the window of a home along the unit block of North 51st Street in West Philadelphia as flames tore through the building at about 1 a.m. on Monday. The individual’s condition at the hospital was not immediately known by fire officials. At the scene, NBC10’s cameras captured the moment the individual was taken from the site of the fire as crews continued to work at the home.
