An 18-year-old was shot and killed overnight in Fairview Park, which is in the CUF neighborhood, the Cincinnati Police Department said.At approximately 1 a.m., officers responded to the 2200 block of Ravine Street, which is near Fairview Park, to disperse a large crowd. While there, officers heard gunshots fired inside the park.Police said officers located 18-year-old Cornelius Edrington Jr. suffering from a gunshot wound.First responders began life-saving measures, but Edrington was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.Police did not say if they've identified a suspect in the shooting or what led up to it.The investigation by Cincinnati police's Homicide Unit is ongoing.
