Starting Monday, June 22, closures will start for 27th Street between Calvert Street and Sheridan Boulevard and Van Dorn from Manse to Cedar avenues for pavement repairs, whic h should be done by early August.  For 27th Street, the recommended detour is Sheridan Boulevard, South 33rd Street, and Nebraska Parkway.  The Van Dorn Street detour for eastbound traffic is 17th Street and South Street, and the recommended detour for westbound traffic is Sheridan Boulevard. Next Saturday, June 27, westbound Cornhusker Highway from Russell Circle to 35th Street will close for pavement work, which should be done by the early part of winter.  Traffic will be head-to-head in the eastbound lanes. Left turns will be prohibited through this section while traffic is head-to-head. For additional project information, visit lincoln.ne.gov/Projects.
