A report from the National Weather Service was issued on Friday at 3:59 p.m. for thunderstorms and gusty showers until 5 p.m. for Tompkins, Cortland, Chenango and Otsego counties."Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue to drop south through the area this afternoon and early evening.
