At 12:39 p.m. on Wednesday, the National Weather Service issued a wind advisory valid for Thursday between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. for Jefferson and Lewis counties."South winds 20 to 30 mph with occasional gusts of 45 to 55 mph expected Thursday morning, becoming southwest Thursday afternoon," states the weather service.
