The candidates have been notified by the City Clerk’s Office. MAYORAL VACANCY One appointment f or an 18-month term beginning July 1, 2026, and ending December 6, 2027. Harold Cogdell, nominated by Council members Ajmera, Anderson, Graham, Johnson, Mitchell, and Owens. Carrie Cook, nominated by Council members Anderson, Mayfield, Mayo, and Watlington. Robert Harrington, nominated by Council members Driggs, Graham, Mayfield, Mayo, and Owens. James Mitchell, Jr., nominated by Council members Driggs, Graham, Johnson, Mazuera Arias, and Mitchell. Caleb Theodros, nominated by Council members Mazuera Arias, Johnson, Mitchell, and Owens. The following nominations were also received: Michael Evans nominated by Council members Anderson and Driggs.
