Maryland voters have just two more days to cast an early ballot before the June 23 primary election, and turnout has been sparse compared to 2024. Without a presidential candidate on the ticket, lower turnout is expected in a midterm year. According to data from the Maryland State Board of Elections, as of Monday, only 2.26% of eligible voters have submitted a ballot during the early voting period.
