A young boy was hospitalized on Tuesday after being shot in the Frankford neighborhood of Philadelphia, according to the police department. The shooting happened just before 7:30 p.m. on June 16 on the 2300 block of Margaret Street, police said. When officers got to the scene they found a yo ung boy suffering from a single gunshot wound, officials explained. Police took him to a nearby hospital where he was placed in critical condition. The Philadelphia Police Department’s Shooting Investigation Group is investigating. No word yet on what led to the shooting or if anyone else was hurt.
