Lincoln Police Cruiser (Jeff Motz/KFOR News)LINCOLN—(KFOR June 13)—An assault in central Lincoln Saturday morning resulted in one person being injured and another being arrested. Lincoln Police say officers were called shortly before 7:30am to a home near 27th and “J” Street and talked to a 35-year-old man, who reported he was assaulted by a man with a baseball bat.  The victim told officers the man hit his legs and head with a baseball bat causing minor injuries. The victim also reported the man threatened him with a handgun. LPD says officers contacted 48-year-old Kenneth Bordeaux and arrested him for the assault. Officers also served a search warrant at a home in the 700 block of South 27th Street. Bordeaux was arrested for 2nd degree assault, use of a weapon to commit a felony, and possession of a controlled substance. ...read more read less
