6 PM WEATHER 6-10-26 INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Warm, humid, stormy weather remains in place through Thursday night WEDNESDAY EVENING/NIGHT:  Warm muggy conditions continue with overnight lows mainly in the low 70s.  A batch of storms will move across Northern Indiana this evening. A few could be on the strong side with gusty winds, hail, and torrential rainfall. Another wave of gusty storms could move across parts of Central Indiana after midnight and produce damaging wind gusts, power outages, and flooding like we had Tuesday evening.  We’ll continue to watch radar trends during the evening hours to see what develops to our west.  THURSDAY: Partly cloudy, breezy, hot, and very humid weather is in store once again.  Highs will be around 90 with heat indices in the low 100s.  Stay cool and hydrated if you will be spending time outdoors.   THURSDAY NIGHT: A line of strong to severe storms with damaging wind and flooding potential may move in from Illinois during the evening and overnight hours. Late night lows should range from the upper 60s to lower 70s.    FRIDAY: Noticeably less humid air will move in and it will feel MUCH better for a chance.  Temperatures top out mainly in the lower 80s.   WEEKEND NEXT WEEK: Saturday will be a partly cloudy and warm day with highs in the mid 80s.  A cold front is going to pass by on Sunday and it may spark more scattered showers and storms.  Highs in the upper 70s to near 80 appear likely at this time.  There are some signs of additional rain and storm chances next week but confidence is low at this time.  We are more confident that the first half of next week will be below average.  Highs may only be in the 70s and overnight lows could dip back into the 50s for a few nights.   ...read more read less
