Five people were injured following a stabbing at New York’s Penn Station on Sunday evening, police and fire officials said. At least one of the victims had serious injuries and all five were taken to a nearby hospital, FDNY officials said, after the 7 p.m. attack. One person, believed to h ave mental health issues, was taken into custody by Amtrak police, according to a senior law enforcement official. The criminal investigation is in its early stages, but the official said there appears to be no signs of terrorism.
