A report from the National Weather Service was issued on Saturday at 10:50 a.m. for winds until 1 p.m. for Niagara, Orleans, Erie, Genesee, Wyoming and Chautauqua counties."A period of strong southwest winds with gusts up to 45 mph are possible through 1 p.m. today. Wind gusts of 40 to 45 mph have b een reported along the Lake Erie shoreline and the Niagara Falls and Buffalo Metros this morning.
