Has to be why
Jun 06, 2026
Is there not a huge outcry in the east Prospector neighborhoods and beyond concerning the biggest reason our home and real estate values are dropping? Do the residents not realize their property values, for the most part, are dropping because of the excessive numbers of affordable, workforce and lo
w-income housing project units going in all around us, with more on the way? And the main point here is that these large developments are separating us from old town.
A major vacant space to now consider is the 5-acre parcel. It was slated to become an arts and culture district, and that’s not going to happen, but how did we get to the point where even more workforce housing units are just about to be built on this wonderful piece of land that should ideally be an attractive entry point into our cherished town? We really will benefit from this city-owned 5 acres to become an attractive natural park space, and nothing more. Contact the City Council today!
