Lincoln Police Cruiser (Jeff Motz/KFOR News)LINCOLN–(KFOR June 6)–At around 1:40 Saturday morning, Lincoln Police responded to a car fire in a parking lot northwest of 56th and Cornhusker where they found a vehicle that was upside down, fully engulfed in flames.  LPD LT Chris Weber told KFOR Ne ws that based on the preliminary investigation, it appears the vehicle was traveling southbound on 56th St from Fletcher when it left the west side of the roadway.  The vehicle then struck a light pole in a parking lot northwest of 56th and Cornhusker Hwy, causing the vehicle to flip upside down and thereafter start on fire.  Once Lincoln Fire and Rescue personnel put out the fire, a single occupant was found deceased inside the vehicle.
