With the 2026 World Cup set to kick off in less than a week, Valley Transit Authority already is warning fans that public transportation will be the best way to get to the stadium. On Friday, international consulates teamed up with the South Bay transit agency to help ensure their citizens can ge t to the San Francisco Bay Area stadium with ease. VTA officials said the agency is preparing for increased demand and expects to move tens of thousands of international visitors during the tournament. The transit agency is encouraging fans to plan their trips ahead of time and use public transportation to travel to matches.
