Léelo en español aquí The shooting happened around 9:45 p.m. on June 3 on the 3000 block of West Susquehanna Avenue in the Strawberry Mansi on neighborhood, Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small said. When officers got to the scene, they found a 20-year-old man conscious with a gunshot wound to his leg, Small said. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he was placed in stable condition. Detectives reported finding over 30 spent shell casings at the scene and believe there was shootout between two groups of people. Small said that two men wearing masks – one on a scooter and the other on an electric bicycle – opened fire at where the victim was standing with two other people. The other group returned fire and stayed at the scene, Small explained. The group with the victim is cooperating with law enforcement and have handed over their weapons to police, according to Small. Investigators are reviewing security cameras in the neighborhood as the investigation continues.
